Choosing Fonderia Morini means choosing a guarantee of quality. Through strict internal controls, we ensure that our products and processes meet the highest standards in every aspect.

It is thanks to this dedication that we have achieved important milestones, such as inclusion in Leonardo’s official supplier list. The company, formerly Leonardo-Finmeccanica, is a leader in the defense sector both in Italy and abroad.

But it is not only internal checks that our products, plants and processes go through. In fact, we also rely on quality and safety agencies and authorities to ensure impartial judgment in the evaluation of our work. In this article we offer a list of the certifications we have been granted over the years by certification bodies such as ASIT, TÜV SÜD and Bureau Veritas.

SVTI Certification

Founded in 1869, the Swiss Association of Technical Inspections (ASIT in Italian, or SVTI in German) is an institution in the field of technical safety supervision and one of the leading authorities in this field.

Among other things, SVTI carries out inspections for technical plants and equipment of various types, such as oil and gas pipelines, power plants or pressure equipment.

From SVTI, Fonderia Morini has received the certification for the safety of pressure equipment, which guarantees the presence of a safe plant both for workers and the environment. This certification was created with the aim of preventing accidents, failures and damage during the operation of pressure equipment, and is awarded only after strict controls carried out by the SVTI inspectorate using extremely advanced technologies and procedures.

TÜV SÜD Italia Certification

TÜV SÜD Italia s.r.l. is an independent certification body which has been dealing with inspections and certifications in the fields of quality, energy, environment, safety and products in Italy since 1987.

From TÜV SÜD Italia s.r.l., Fonderia Morini has received a certification of compliance with the requirements of UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 for the “Sand casting of aluminum, following the specifications provided by the customers (IAF 17)”.

According to these requirements, an organization should:

demonstrate that it can regularly provide products or services that meet the customer’s requirements and the applicable mandatory requirements;
aim at increasing customer satisfaction through the effective application of its system.

Bureau Veritas Certification

Bureau Veritas assesses the effective management of systems and processes in companies and organizations in terms of quality, environment, safety, health and social responsibility with the aim of preventing risks and improving performance.

Fonderia Morini has obtained a certification according to the Bureau Veritas Mode II model, issued to certify that at the request of the company and in accordance with the requirements of the NR320 norm, a satisfactory assessment of the production facilities and related quality procedures has been carried out within the sector considered for recognition. Fonderia Morini received the certification for the sector of sand casting of aluminum alloys.
