Laboratory checks

To ensure the customer the best quality, Fonderia Morini has advanced laboratories for testing its products and the entire manufacturing process.

The cast (the final product of the melting and casting process) undergoes different types of analysis:

• chemical analysis of alloys, carried out through a state-of-the-art spectrograph;
• metallographic analysis, using an advanced system of microscopes;
• dimensional and three-dimensional analysis, using a a morphological arm;
• mechanical analysis, carrying out tensile and resilience tests.

The Foundry's laboratory also has advanced measurement and analysis systems to check the sands used during the production cycle.
