The purchase of new-generation sleeves is one of Fonderia Morini’s measures to protect the environment. These sleeves, produced by Foseco, reduce the amount of aluminium to be poured, allowing the foundry to significantly limit the wasted methane and, therefore, limit air pollution.

The benefits of this equipment are not just for the environment. As fewer fumes are generated, conditions for workers in indoor environments improve as well.

The investment yielded excellent results, allowing a reduction in the volumes of aluminium to be recast by 30-40% compared to the past.
