THE
COMPANY
FONDERIA MORINI,
established in 1959, has been operating with success for over 40 years.
It is a leader both in Italy and abroad in the foundry sector, and is
specialised in the production of cast aluminium alloys produced using
sand casting technology.
This strong family business, run by father and son, consolidated since
1983, is the guarantee of a company projected into the future, with significant
financial resources of its own, and all the necessary experience for assessing
and carrying out projects. The target of our young and dynamic staff is
to understand and fulfil all our clients' requests.
The dynamism and continual development of each single department, all
equipped with the most up-to-date machinery, and the constant investments
that allow for expansion of the company’s productivity, make for
continual improvement in product quality and, considering costs and reduction
of waste, also lead to improvements in economic efficiency.
FONDERIA MORINI premises,
which are strategically positioned a few hundred yards from the “Cotignola”
exit on the A 14 bis motorway, are situated on an area of about 30,000
square metres, 10,000 of which are covered.
Our work cycle begins when a project is presented by a customer, who,
working in constant collaboration with our staff, receives a finished
product, deburred, sanded, complete with any mechanical machining, finishing,
mechanical tests, laboratory tests, product certification, packed and
delivered directly to their site.
The FONDERIA MORINI group
employs about 100 people, divided between the sand casting and shell casting
sections, the latter conducted by our controlled company, the Fonderia
Cornacchia. A network of subordinate suppliers, all located within a few
kilometres, provide any required mechanical machining or finishing, all
of which is directly checked by our quality service in compliance with
the standards of our certified production cycle.
The rigour with which the production process is monitored ensures the
accuracy of all the processing stages in conformity with UNI EN
9001:2000 standards, issued by TÜV, the
highest European certification authority, and in compliance with the Swiss
SVTI regulations on conformity of the process for the construction of
pressurised devices.
